Başak Koç joins Altınordu family!


Former national volleyball player Başak Koç started her sports career in Eczacıbaşı Sports Club in 1993 and continued to the A Team and National team levels under the umbrella of Eczacıbaşı; She also played for Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Işıkspor.

After active sportsmanship, she started her managerial role at Vakıfbank Sports Club as the general manager, experiencing, League Championship, Turkish Cup and Champions League
final experience.

Koç was the first and only female announcer of Olympic Games, World and European Championships, Champions League since 2008. She continues to add value to the sports industry as the "Voice of Sports" in volleyball, cycling, athletics, mountain biking, beach volleyball, triathlon and swimming branches.

Graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of Television Journalism in English, Koç started her television career in 2002 with Mehmet Ali Birand and his team in the 32.Gün program.

In her 19-year-long media adventure, she worked for Eurosport, GsTV, TRTTürk, TRTSpor. She also made radio programs in Power Group and Radyospor. She wrote the newspapers Hürriyet, Akşam, Yeni Yüzyıl and Fanatik in the print media.

In her development-oriented journey she trained as an presenter-announcer in Kuşdili and Television Journalism at TÜRVAK; She also participated in the Istanbul Bilgi University Public Relations Certificate Program.

Dormen Academy under the leadership of Haldun Dormen, she studied acting at Istanbul Drama Sanat under the leadership of Ayla Algan.

Koç is also a "Storyteller", has also served in the corporate field for a while. She worked as a Project Manager at Onİletişim.

Başak Koç continues her presenting career with national and international congresses, conferences, panels, seminars and sports organizations.

Koç believes in team play. She aims to increase the number of successful people per square meter of Turkey. Along this path, she received training as a trainer from Mümin Sekman, the author of the book 'Everything Starts with You', which broke the Turkish record in its genre by making 1,250,000 prints. As a licensed ESWY trainer, she continues to talk about the methods of making her dreams come true.
